Our yarn shop features yarn from our own sheep, llamas, alpacas, and goats. The wool is blended and spun up by a local spinnery and put into 2 and 4 oz skeins. We also feature other natural fiber yarns from around the country and in New England.
Spinning and weaving supplies are available for all levels. We are a supplier of Ashford and Louet spinning wheels and accessories.
The Linsey-Woolsey line
Our latest venture is that with Brahms and Mount Textile in Hallowell,ME; weavers of fine linen throws and blankets. Together with their linen warp, we have added our fine wool into the weft to recreate the Linsey-Woolsey line of blankets and throws. The linen absorbs moisture from the body creating a more comfortable sleep environment. The wool provides warmth. Insulation is assured. Comfort guaranteed.
Nezinscot Farmhas a flock of Cormo, shetland sheep, llamas, alpacas, and lamacas/lapacacs (cross between llamas and alpacas) which help supply the yarn shop with exotic yarns.
Our Natural Yarn is available at our farm store, and we also ship within continental U.S.
