Fiber Arts and Weaving Retreat

The Life of Wool Fiber Studio at Nezinscot Farm is located on the second floor above our store, cafe, and creamery.

It is a spacious 30 x 60’ open design studio that features wool yarns produced from our flock of over 100 sheep, Angora goats, Angora rabbits, and alpacas. The studio also houses a variety of working looms, spinning wheels, various other fiber-related equipment.

Our store and studio sit in the middle of our 300-acre third-generation organic dairy farm. While here, visitors are welcome to walk around the farm, join in the day-to-day chores on the farm, walk around the expansive gardens and enjoy the view of the river from comfy chairs on our front porch.

Join us for a weekend of fiber-filled fun in our expansive 30 x 60 fiber studio and yarn shop. Located on the second floor, just above our cafe, coffee shop, and gourmet food store; wafts of baked homemade bread and coffee fill the air while you play.

The weekend offers opportunities to learn several fiber-related crafts from experienced and knowledgeable staff and artists while utilizing some of the fibers produced from the farm’s animal collection(sheep, alpacas, angora rabbits, and angora goats).
